What is LNG?
LNG stands for liquefied natural gas. Natural gas is liquefied by cooling it down to a very low temperature between -120°C and -162°C, reducing its volume by a factor of 600. This makes the transport of LNG easier and safer. In its liquid state, LNG will not ignite, is odourless, non-toxic and non-corrosive.
