H2-Stations platform launched to strengthen Europe’s hydrogen network
The Clean Hydrogen Partnership has officially launched H2-Stations, a European platform designed to improve the availability, transparency and harmonisation of hydrogen refuelling station (HRS) data across Europe.
TotalEnergies has been part of this initiative, contributing to the development of a more connected and transparent hydrogen ecosystem.
A European overview of hydrogen infrastructure
The platform lists around 170 hydrogen refuelling stations across Europe, providing a centralised overview of the current market landscape.
Within this network TEAL Mobility operates 15 stations, besides that, Air Liquide and TotalEnergies operate one station each. To conclude, H2 Mobility Germany and Hysetco have a strong footprint; two JVs where TotalEnergies is shareholder. This represents a relevant market share for our ecosystem, highlighting the role of TotalEnergies and its partners in shaping hydrogen mobility infrastructure across Europe.
A platform supporting transparency and regulation
H2-Stations offers a real-time map of station availability; harmonised datasets aligned with the EU’s Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR) and tools with dashboards tailored to different stakeholders.
By standardising how hydrogen stations are monitored and reported, the platform supports both day-to-day operations and regulatory compliance at European level.
Supporting the shift towards data-driven operations
The launch of H2-Stations reflects a broader shift in the industry towards data-driven infrastructure management.
For TotalEnergies, it reinforces our role not only as an operator, but also as an active contributor to the development of a transparent and interconnected hydrogen ecosystem in Europe.
