What vehicles are available, and what is the driving range of a (bio)CNG or (bio)LNG truck?

(bio)CNG and (bio)LNG are available across a wide range of commercial vehicles, from rigid trucks to heavy duty and long haul trucks, but also light duty vans. (bio)CNG trucks are particularly well suited for urban, regional and return to base operations, where their driving range comfortably covers daily routes. Depending on the vehicle configuration and application, ranges of up to around 1,000 km can be achieved.

For longer distances and intensive use, (bio)LNG trucks benefit from the fuel’s higher energy density, enabling extended driving ranges of up to around 1,500 km. This makes (bio)LNG a strong solution for long haul transport while maintaining operational patterns similar to conventional diesel trucks.
