TotalEnergies designs, engineers, builds, installs and commissions state-of-the-art natural gas and hydrogen refueling stations for public use, and maintains high level expertise for the operation and maintenance of this infrastructure.
Public infrastructure for business use
Businesses and local authorities work with TotalEnergies' to determine the alternative fuel solution that is right for their fleet and energy transition needs: Whether this involves finding an existing station in TotalEnergies public network nearby, or adding a new one. Or developing a private station on site that is dedicated to one or several organisations.
Expanding our global network
Promoting the use of natural gas, from fossil and renewable sources, for vehicles is part of TotalEnergies' integrated strategy to expand its low carbon businesses around the world. To achieve this, TotalEnergies continues to accelerate the realisation of NGV stations and explore the potential of H2 stations in its existing markets, as well as shaping strategic partnerships to develop new markets.
By 2025, TotalEnergies aims to have 450 NGV stations in Europe, making it the market leader in the region. This ambition has been accelerated by the acquisition and integration of PitPoint, one of Europe’s leading new energy suppliers based in the Netherlands. Outside Europe, TotalEnergies is also growing its global NGV presence through local entities and partnerships such as with Clean Energy Fuels in the US and Adani Group in India.
Clean Energy, in which TotalEnergies has a 25% share, is the leading supplier of natural gas as a fuel for the transport sector in North America with more than 540 NGV stations. Adani, joint venture partner of TotalEnergies and the largest energy and infrastructure conglomerate in India, will be one of the main contributors to the target of more than 600 NGV stations in Asia.
